Wildflowers In The Desert
See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
Wildflowers grow uncultivated in their natural habitat. They have a short life span – the seeds sprout, the plants grow, then bloom and die, leaving behind seeds for the following year. They are here today and gone tomorrow. In the scheme of eternity our life can seem like that. We spend a short time here on earth and then eternity with Jesus in Heaven. Our time here on earth is not only a prequel to our eternal life but a time to sow into God’s Kingdom on earth. How’s it going for you?
Do you live in a well watered place or are you spending time in the desert?
Have you left some seeds here on earth that will grow and flower year after year?
The Scriptures are full of desert encounters that God’s people have passed through. There is much to be learnt in the desert – about ourselves, about God and about our destiny.
Come and join us for this course as we explore the desert times in our life and as we take up our position to facilitate the Kingdom Of God here on earth.
This retreat includes worship, teaching, prayer ministry and creative responses.
